Blurred Lines

For my final 10 on 10, I’m breaking a few rules; in fact, I’m breaking all of them. There are more than ten photos, and they weren’t taken on the same day. Honestly, if it’s that big a deal, please turn me in to the 10 on 10 police. Pretty sure that the fine will be worth it since I decided to use the photos from my daughters’ college graduation. On May 16, 2013, Jordan and Shelby graduated from Temple University, and I couldn’t be prouder of them. They have done things I never thought possible, and I can’t wait to see what they do in the future. The photos are blurry and I didn’t capture every moment, but I don’t care. Some are…

Nine In the Afternoon

I guess when I contemplated doing the August Break, I took it as a break for a month from blogging . . . good thing I didn’t sign up for it since I clearly didn’t fully grasp the concept. Seven Nation Army

July was a rough, rough month. I didn’t feel like myself for the vast majority of it, and for that, I blame the prednisone and medication that I was on. My mind felt like it was swimming at times, kind of like being a little bit drunk but all the damn time. Sounds like fun, right? And the best part . . . even after I stopped taking the steroids, I still had that feeling rattling around in my brain. And why say all this? Because I put off my 10 on 10 day until July 31. Do or die time basically. Like it or leave it. Basically, my last stand for the month. Here’s my day from 7 AM until 7 PM. For…

Cat People (Putting Out Fire)

For some reason, I decided to enter a contest with this photo. Maybe because I really like it. Maybe because every time there is a contest, it’s filled with children or babies, and while I have children, they look different from all the rest because they are adults. But pets? I have two . . . and technically speaking, I have three since the Girls’ apartment is very small, and Olive, god love her, enjoys having space to roam.
