Since I’m a teacher, often times this 10 on 10 project doesn’t lend itself too well to a format for compelling photos. Really, do you want to see yet another photo of my desk? Tough shit . . . because you’re going to see another photo of my desk. Maybe next month, I’ll set a reminder and try for a Sunday. At least then I can be sure to be desk free. You’ll just have to settle for a photo of my table instead. Remember, when you’re done here, head over to Laura and see how she spent her day. All images were taken between the hours of 6:30 AM and 9 PM on January 8, 2013.
Go check out Laura and see her day. Ten bucks says she doesn’t have a single image of her desk!

but to make a desk interesting, to see objects as something in themselves, something with a strange weight even when they bore us or we overlook them. we are tied to these things, these scenes, patterns. i like how you made each of these a view of the world.
Not going to lie . . . sometimes my desk keeps me sane.
Hey, don’t feel bad about eating lunch at 10:30. I eat mine at 10:00. : ) I loved seeing the day through a school teacher’s eyes, especially when she has a camera on hand.
Our lunch starts at 10:10 AM. Luckily I get another planning period at 1 PM, so I can have a snack. One of these days, I’m going to snap a photo every hour on the hour. I think.
