Let’s see . . . I started this months 10 on 10 about six times. I’d take a few photos, but every time, I’d forget by lunch time and then realize that I started the next morning when the project repeated itself. Until yesterday. Because yesterday was do or die. My last chance for the month. An earth shattering day? Hardly. It was pretty normal for a Friday. Woke up. Showered, put on make-up, blew my hair dry. Grabbed a cup of Starbucks. Worked on essays with my students. Ate some lunch. Continued working on essays. Put our chairs up. Dismissed my kids. Wondered what we actually accomplished. Took my car to the car wash. Went to the monthly knit night. It could be any Friday for me. Routine. But all mine. When you’re done here, check out how Laura spent her day.
Ha! We have the exact same haircut now!!! 😀 Do you love it? I do, minus the weird ring I get from wearing a winter hat non stop, lol.
Winter hats and me = disgusting, flat, plastered hair. So not cool!
I love your selfies. You pull them off so well.
I don’t know about “well,” but thank you !
The before and after selfie rocks x.
Fooling around with the iPhone before coffee is all sorts of messed up. I would hate to see what anyone thought if they saw me trying to take the photos.
I love your before and after! What an honest portrayal.
I’ve thought about it for a while and just decided to go for it this time around.
I love your before and after too! very cool!
Nearly didn’t post it because I thought I looked like I was on a slab in the first one.
I love that I know you had salad in a jar for lunch 🙂
Right?! I’m still making them on Sundays; sadly, this week’s was kinda gross because I added gorgonzola cheese and it really funked it up.
I don’t think I have ever been here to visit. Two thoughts: I love teachers. Thank you!
How pretty are you? Your beauty shined through even at the end of a long day : )
Wishing you a beautiful week.
Why thank you (for both)! Teachers get a really bad rap what with our lavish pensions (I pay 17.8% of my pay to my retirement, FYI) and our easy hours 😉 I was sooo beat after yesterday.
i LOVE this 10 on 10! your dip is fantastic, and for some reason i’m drawn to the bus duty photo, too. i don’t even remember the last time i went to a knit night. it’s been so long that henry (for some reason) thinks i used to work at the yarn shop.
I’d like it far better if it weren’t so grainy (stupid ISO that was totally my fault). Bus duty is one of those things I love and loathe. But I have duty near two buses with kids I have now or last year, and it’s always nice to have them say good-bye with a smile on your face.
Hello pretty lady! Love seeing how you spent your day! The shot of you holding your head with your hand sort of reminds me of the look you gave me while we were trying to get through customs and I kept trying to use my camera : ) Miss you!!
My days seem to run together this time of year. And I don’t think I *ever* gave you that look 😉 Miss you, too!
Gawd I forgot about putting chairs up at the end of a school day……. wow… that poked a lot of memories out of cobwebs!
Just doing my part 😉 Today was an exercise in futility as I repeated myself all, damn day.
